General Terms of Use

Preamble

Welcome to the portals of afema24.com, home of the EMEU Euno Mind Echo University® and Veganrando.com. We appreciate your interest in our vision and our work.

These Terms of Use govern the general, informational use of our portals. They provide the foundation for a fair, transparent and secure relationship between you and us.

We draw a clear distinction between the public areas of our portals, which are freely accessible to all visitors, and the exclusive „Campus“, which is reserved solely for registered business users. These Terms of Use apply to both areas.

**Important:** The purchase of paid products and services, which is available exclusively within the Campus, is governed by our separate General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These will be presented to you for review and acceptance prior to any purchase.

Section 1 — Scope and Services

(1) These Terms of Use apply to all use of the portals operated by afema24.com Agentur für professionelles eBusiness Ltd. & Co. KG (hereinafter „afema24.com“), a company registered in the Federal Republic of Germany.

(2) The services governed by these Terms of Use include, in particular:

(a) Access to and reading of freely available content (e.g. articles, reports).

(b) Subscription to our email newsletter.

(c) Use of interactive features such as comment functions (where available).

(d) Registration for and use of a personal user account providing access to the Campus.

Section 2 — User Registration and Access to the Campus

(1) **Registration requirement.** Access to the exclusive B2B area of our portals — the Campus — and the ability to purchase services require the creation of a personal user account.

(2) **Business users only.** Registration and access to the Campus are available exclusively to persons acting in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession, and not as consumers. By submitting a registration application, the user confirms that they are acting in such capacity. afema24.com reserves the right to verify business status and to decline registration applications without giving reasons.

(3) **Accuracy of information.** The user must provide all information requested in the registration form truthfully and completely and keep such information up to date.

(4) **Account responsibility.** The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and for all activity that takes place through their account. The user shall notify afema24.com without undue delay of any unauthorized use of their account.

(5) **Contractual relationship.** Upon confirmation of registration by afema24.com, a no-fee user agreement on the basis of these Terms of Use comes into effect.

(6) **Termination.** The user may delete their account at any time without giving reasons. afema24.com may likewise terminate the user agreement at any time, in particular in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use.

Section 3 — Acceptable Use

(1) When using interactive features (e.g. comment functions), the user must not:

(a) publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harmful to minors or discriminatory;

(b) distribute unsolicited advertising (spam) or chain messages; or

(c) publish content that infringes the rights of third parties, including but not limited to copyright, trademark or personality rights.

(2) afema24.com reserves the right to remove any contributions that breach these rules without prior notice and to exclude the user from further use of interactive features.

Section 4 — Intellectual Property

All content published on the portals — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, videos and the trademarks EMEU® and Veganrando.com — is protected by copyright and/or trademark law and is the sole property of afema24.com or its licensors. Any reproduction, distribution or other use beyond private, informational purposes requires the prior written consent of afema24.com.

Section 5 — Disclaimer

The content of our portals is prepared with the greatest care. However, we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness or currency. As a service provider, we are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored on our portals (e.g. user comments). Our liability for our own content is governed by the applicable statutory provisions.

Section 6 — Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is of central importance to us. Detailed information on how we process your data — particularly in connection with the use of our website, newsletter subscriptions and account registration — can be found in our separate Privacy Notice, which has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation).

Section 7 — Governing Law and Final Provisions

(1) These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Where the user is habitually resident in another EU Member State, any mandatory consumer protection provisions of that Member State that would apply irrespective of the chosen law remain unaffected; however, given the exclusively business-to-business nature of the Campus (Section 2(2)), such provisions will generally not apply.

(2) For any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms of Use, the courts at the registered seat of afema24.com in Germany shall have jurisdiction, provided the user is a business within the meaning of Section 2(2).

(3) If any provision of these Terms of Use is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
